It never fails to crack me up. Just last week, I had a dictation where the doctor referred to a ‘cardiopulmonary resuscitation event’ instead of just saying CPR. You have to wonder if they think we’re transcribing for a medical journal or just trying to keep it simple! Anyone else find this hilarious?
