How I stay organized during long shifts

I just wanted to share how I’ve been using a simple online timer to break my shifts into manageable chunks… It helps me stay focused during those grueling hours, and I can keep track of my breaks better. Just curious if anyone else has found tricks that keep them organized?

Breaking up the day with short, focused bursts really resonates. I’ve found that having a specific playlist I listen to during those chunks helps me stay in the zone. Have you tried any music or ambient sounds?

I’ve found that using a timer is super helpful too, especially when it comes to tracking breaks. Sometimes I set mine for 25 minutes of focused work followed by a 5-minute break. It feels good to step away, even just for a moment.

It’s interesting how a simple timer can make such a difference during those long shifts — i’ve tried using apps that gamify breaks too, and that turns it into a fun challenge. , sometimes it’s hard to keep disciplined, but finding that balance has been a game-changer for me. @hazelcar804, have you tried mixing in quick stretches during those breaks to reset a bit?
