How has technology changed transcription jobs

And i was chatting with a colleague recently about how much easier things like voice recognition software have made our jobs. But it got me thinking — what happens if this scales even more? Are we looking at a future where human transcriptionists are largely obsolete, or is there still a role for us as the technology evolves?

It’s like a good chef; even with a fancy new oven, you still need someone to sprinkle the seasonings. I think we’ll always have a role in ensuring accuracy and context that machines might miss. What do you think about training in tech tools as a way to stay relevant?
